Today was a banner day for Heartsong Cookies. I accepted my first member into the Heartsong Hug Club...my mom. For her $18 she will receive a dozen freshly baked cookies hand delivered to her door with a great big hug. She can choose a combination of any flavor that makes her heart sing. Mom asked me to mix it up...some Toasted Pecan Chocolate Chip and a surprise without chocolate.
Heartsong Hug Club was created to help defray the commercial kitchen rental costs during my first few months of operation. Friends have offered to help and I thought this would be a fairly inexpensive way to buy "stock" in Heartsong Cookies with the dividend being homemade cookies and a hug.
