Still Homeless - Day 39

I still have no farmers' market home and I am getting worried.  The end of the month will be here before you know it and with it comes another month of kitchen rental and the yearly business tax receipt.  Today I called the Downtown Orlando Farmers' Market number and was "greeted" rather rudely on the other end of the line.  The purpose of my call was simply to make sure my application had been received.  I was told that if I had read the guidelines I would know that they will contact me in seven days.  I did read the guidelines, but with my recent Maitland Farmers' Market debacle, I am afraid to assume anything.  I hung up the phone and immediately felt discouraged...but not defeated.

I went online to download the application for the Lake Mary Farmers' Market.  Instead of a grumpy voice, I was greeted by a bright, colorful, well organized site.  How refreshing!  I filled out the application, faxed it and e-mailed photos of my debut.  The Lake Mary Farmers' Market is held on Saturdays.  This presents a baking challenge.  Dough will have to be made on Thursdays and baked on Fridays.  Gator games are played on Saturdays.  I am not missing a Gator game.  Somehow, someway, I have to find a home.

Many hugs,
Kathy
